Geoscience Task Force

A Geoscience Task Force (GTF) has been assembled under the auspices of Quintessa to provide consultancy expertise in geological site selection and site characterisation and thus assess the feasibility and safety of the geological disposal of radioactive waste and the sequestration of carbon dioxide.

The range of disciplines includes geology, geochemistry and hydrogeology. Moreover the GTF is able to integrate information from these and related disciplines in order to build consistent interpretations of site data.
