Modelling Iron-Bentonite Interactions

As part of the EC NF-PRO project, Quintessa is developing new models for the alteration of bentonite buffers in contact with corroding iron-based radioactive waste canisters, to understand their possible long-term transformation to non-swelling iron silicates.

UKAEA Performance Assessment Workshop

Radioactive Particles in the Marine Environment

New Guidance on Nuclear and Defence Sites

System-level modelling for CO₂ storage

As part of the EU CO2GeoNet programme of work on the geological storage of carbon dioxide, Quintessa staff, working with colleagues from the British Geological Survey, applied system-level models to the volcanic Latera region in the north of Rome.

AMBER Training Course
