David is a member of the Maths and Software team at Quintessa’s Henley-on-Thames office and is supporting software development activities for a range of clients.

David has a MMath degree and a Ph.D in Applied Mathematics from the University of Reading.  The focus of his studies was computational mathematics.

With over 12 years commercial software development experience, David has a history of creating bespoke data processing algorithms/workflows tailored to the data interpretation requirements of clients.  Prior to joining Quintessa the majority of his career has been spent developing software for the Defence and Oil & Gas Industries.

David’s free time is spent with his young family, keeping fit, reading and playing board games. David is an AFOL.
