James Kite

James initially studied for a BSc in Physics at the University of Kent, Canterbury.  Upon graduating, he endeavoured to broaden his skill set by spending a further year in Canterbury studying for an MSc Computer Science.  His dissertation project, titled “Deep Adaptive Neuromorphic Architecture”, aimed to highlight a significant link between the fields of Deep Learning and Neuromorphic Engineering.  James is a member of the Maths and Software team at Quintessa’s Henley-on-Thames office and is supporting software development activities for external and internal clients.

James has a passion for paintball and, during his final years at University, the team he captained achieved a first-place victory in two consecutive years at the national Student Cup tournament. He has since moved onto a new team, competing at a higher level, in seasonal tournaments.
