In October 2017, the IAEA held the first Technical Meeting for their new forum on the Safety of Near Surface Disposal in Vienna. Quintessa is pleased to welcome Patricia Verrier and Mark Pogson to its Maths and Software Team. Patricia joined the Henley office in November 2017 and will be supporting modelling and software projects for EDF Energy. Mark joined the Warrington office in February 2018 and will also be supporting work with EDF Energy and the Sellafield Enabling Innovation Frameworks. In December 2017, Simon Rookyard was invited by BBC Radio 5 Live onto the airwaves to talk about one of his more unusual areas of interest; porridge.
