Quintessa uses Esri’s ArcGIS geospatial platform to create maps and to perform geospatial and geostatistical analysis to support its work on environmental safety cases for radioactive and hazardous waste disposal and carbon capture projects. Such work can provide useful insights into the potential impacts of climate change and sea level rise and the likelihood of infrastructure being built above facilities post-closure. Elsewhere, Quintessa uses GIS in options assessments and decision support to capture and visualise stakeholder priorities and present them in an accessible manner.
